Check the website for your local state police department. It was recently made public record and they should have a link on their website to view the ones in your state. Convicted sexual offenders have to register with the state police (where they live or where ever they move) as part of their probation/parole.

In my county the sheriff's website has a list of sexual predators. You just type in your address and it gives you all the registered sex offenders within a mile of your home. I have three within a mile of my house.
