If that don't do it I don't know what will. If he loves his child, I would think he would want to make that clear by legally giving him/her his name. I'm not trying to judge, children change things. Sometimes we don't come first. good luck.

Sorry but he either does or he doesn't. You can't make him want to marry you. If you have a 16 month old baby and have been together for that long then he has kind of shown you he doesn't want to already, hasn't he? Check the laws of the state you live in.....Some states have common law marriages.

Sorry to say it, but if he hasn't asked yet, he doesn't want to. I mean, come on, you let him have it for "free" for 6 years, and have a child. What kind of relationship do you have that it's boiled down to you asking a question here???

u can't make a man do something that he might not want to do . just give him some time and if he think that u are the woman that he wants to be with his rest of his life then he will ask u .
