Well what I would suggest is that you should find a more permanent solution. Find a heath care clinic that may help you find a counseling group. There may be one in your area for pregnant or new moms. I know that those talk groups really helped me out. I went to my local hospital (prairie at st. johns) they specialize in depression and helped me a lot. I'm now on medication and my boy and I are doing great.
P.S. what is causing all the stress. Maybe being a single mom will be less stressfull. For me it is. Or if your married TELL and ask your husband that he has to help you more and be there for you and your baby.
A lamaze class WITH a supportive person helps. The supportive person doesn't have to be your husband or bf. Choose someone that will be there for you and will go to everyclass without an excuse. Choose your mom, sister, a best friend or someone that you may meet in a group.
If reducing your hours at work may help talk to your boss. There are laws out there that are on your side.
Most importantly be truthfull to your doctor and tell him or her everything, they are there to help.

Good luck and God bless you and your family.

Make sure that you get some "ME" time. Even if it's just reading a book at home alone. Find a good friend that you can talk to, or at least someone to talk to. A good ear won't change the situation, but talking about things will help the stress level in coping with them. Hence the words "all bottled up."

But most importantly, don't let so many things bother you. Step back a little. No matter how stressful things are, remember that you're going to have a beautiful baby soon. And I bet just thinking about that little one bouncing around in there gave you a smile...

Go for a short walk, read a book, go swimming, or just go to the shopping mall and browse. If you haven't started your baby wish list yet, go to a store and register. Or, go and add things to it. Your mind may have changed on some things since you originally created the wish list. Remind yourself what you're getting ready for.

Try to take some time every day to do something for yourself.

- Take a relaxing bath
- Go for a walk
- Call a friend
- Visit the bookstore and buy a book to read
- Go shopping alone
- Take time at night to relax and talk with your spouse
- Find a salon that has people who are trained in giving pregnancy massages-and get one!
- Get a manicure or pedicure
- Meditate or pray
- Take a yoga class
- Sing in your car while you listen to the radio
- Start a srapbook for you baby
- Start a journal of your thoughts or a journal to your new baby
- Remember - Breathe and take one day at a time! Good luck!

You may want to try this:
1. Lie flat on the ground
2. Feet slightly apart. They should feel relaxed
3. Arms with the palms facing up, shoulders turning out, and laying at 60-90 degree from the body
4. Stay there and breathe normally

Don't force yourself to relax for this create additional stress. Please take care of yourself.

No stress is not good for you or for the baby. It can cause post partum depression. The best technique to relieve stress would be to remove yourself from the situation that is causing stress.

Chamomile tea is very calming and relaxing, and you can get it in your regular grocery store in the tea isle. Also, you need to realize that there will always be problems. Is the world going to come to a grinding halt if you do not allow yourself to get sucked into the issues? Try to stay out of it. When they call to tell you about their problems, just tell them that you have to go and you will call back later. Then have some tea! :)

Get a hold of passion fruit plant and boil the leaves to make a tea. You can mix honey to make it taste sweet. When you drink it you'll probably feel sleepy and relaxed.

Is it possible for you to take a vacation? you could get away for a few days, or even a few weeks. You could also turn your phone off, and kick everyone out of your house that doesn't belong there...or who is causes problems, and just chill for a few days.
