If you mean the featured question where he was invited specially by Yahoo Answers in order to begin a dialog between posters, then yes, it's the real Al Gore.

Obviously, Vice-President Gore is not doing this himself. But I fully believe he is 100% behind it, and more involved than you might think.
I am a very conservative Republican. However, I believe that Al Gore is a very committed man, and is very concerned about what he believes to be a key social issue. I do not agree with him, but I support his right to push that agenda 100%.
Try that in the rest of the world. It won't happen there.
