Yes, I have for a long time. Spiritual / Philosophical. I have recieved various awards for such.

You ask the question, like you would possibly like to do so, but lack the confidence.
A poet is only someone who put their feelings and thoughts on paper in their own individual style.

If this is your venue, I strongly encourage you to pursue it. Writing possesses it's own kind of therapy as well.

The poet Gerard Manley Hopkins was an Episcopal priest who wrote beautifully moving poems of faith and spirituality. My favorite of his poems is "Margaret, are you grieving."

For a more rationalistic theological bent, I suggest the works of John Donne (pronounced "done"). Donne was the greatest of the metaphysical poets, most famous for his lines "Death, be not proude."

If you mean spiritual in the general sense and not associated with a particular religion nor scriptures, then I do that.
