All FDIC banks have to offer the government programs. Try Wells Fargo....they can approve anyone!

You should call your local housing authority or government office. there is always usually local programs where the state will give you a grant )which is free money that you dont have to pay back if you qualify) you would have to be within there income bracket though. And and bank can also let you know about programs they have for first time home buyers. And mostly every town have a development of low income houses that people can buy. Call local departments to find out.

Check with city hall. There is a department called "The Housing and Community Development Department" and they help find affordable housing for low to mid income houston families.

You should try ACORN or HFA programs. These organizations have true first time buyer programs for middle and low income families.
