Three Major Factors Germany has are:
Jens Lehmann -- One of the top five GK's in the world
Michael Ballack -- One of the best Midfielders in the world
Miroslav Klose -- The top scoring Striker in the tournament
and this doesn't even bring in the fact that if Jens Lehmann were to get injured, they still have Oliver Kahn. (Which conveniently is another one of the top five GK's in the world) Germany also has a deep bench, the host country advantage, and has not lost an international match since March against, coincidentally, Italy 4-1.
Germany does have what it takes to win it all, but they will have to overcome the killer defense of Italy and the GK skills of Buffon first, to have a chance against an easier opponent in either France of Portugal.

well i think it is rule of the game that which team have unity & believe on team work will win...as Germany is now struggling by both powers in this cup...so i think there are more chances of Germany to win this world cup....
