I am glad to see that you excluded MLM companies from your potential answers. It would clearly take 3 to 5 years to become a millionaire in even the best network marketing company. If the one year plan does not work out for you, you can always try an MLM starting next year. Good Luck!

It is easy if you are starting out with $900,000. The million mark is reached by making turnover profits, as in compounding interest. So unless you anticipate being very, very phenomenally lucking in sales or stock/bond/commodity trading you have to have a lot to start with or it won't happen. If you can ride the waves and spot their crests then compounding trading positions with commodities will be the quickest. But you have to find something very volatile and on the verge of moving really, really big. I almost did that with sugar back in the 1970's, but wasn't ready. When I thought I was ready with Maine potato futures in the mid 1970's that happened to be when a bunch of millionaires colluded to buck a long-standing trend. It would have paid off my mortgage but their counterplays sunk my ship and I was paying off the debt for years. You can win really big, and lose even bigger. Every trend you spot, others have spotted too and are trying to exploit it. Good luck, but I think you need to make more realistic goals for a more realistic longer term. I still have hope myself, when I buy my weekly lottery ticket--only one at a time, because with odds so bad it won't be but by the grace of God that I might win and every other ticket is simply a waste.
