It's probably crabs. Shave one side bald and set the other side on fire. When they run out to escape the flames, stab them with an ice pick.

Check for pubic lice, or "crabs". After a bath or shower you will notice them most, as small black dots. Scrape one off with a nail, and take a good look. If it has legs, you've got company. Get something from the drugstore to kill them and follow the directions. Also, wash all clothes and linens in hot water.
If that's not the issue, do you have jock itch? That's just the same thing as a yeast infection, so get some medicine from the drugstore. Wash the area with soap and water three times a day. Each time, be sure to dry very well, then apply the ointment.
The best way to avoid getting this is to keep the area dry and clean. Warm, dark, moist environments are what fungi, which is what yeast is, thrive in.
That's all I can think of for males...STD's don't cause itchy crotches in men. If neither helps, see a doctor.
