I'm not sure how long a "long time" is, but I'll tell you what I know.
Disney now has a "fast pass" system where you can scan your tickets at a ride. The ticket will let you go through the fast line an hour from when you scanned. You can only do this once an hour. If you time things right, you won't be wasting away in lines all day.
EPCOT
The new Mars ride is pretty good for EPCOT and is located at the universe of energy, I think.
Theres usually some good shows out on the street throughout the day.
I still love "spaceship earth." Its classic.
You've also got to check out "Innoventions." Tons of cool hands on stuff and video games.
MGM
Definitly you need to see "Fantasmic" at nigt at MGM. But be sure you get there plenty early or you'll be standing up in the back. Waiting is worth it.
I don't know if they still have "Who Wants to be a Millionare" mock show that gives tourists mickey pins and stuff for making it to the hot seat.
The movie ride is still there.
The Rockin Roller Coaster is fairly new and of amusement park quality.
The tower of terror is still good.
The movie back lot ride is one of the best.
Magic Kingdom
Goodbye to Mr Toads Wild Ride and hello to the Winnie the Pooh ride. In my opinion, not as good.
Theres always a long line for Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. And sometimes Big Thunder mountain.
Be sure to check out Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, for some fun lasar tag team action in tomorrow land.
You've got to see the classics, Snow white ride, peter pan ride, carousal of progress, its a small world, pirates of the carribean, jungle cruise, tom sawyer island, swiss family tree house, tiki room, ....
I could keep going on.
Animal Kingdom
The dinosaur ride is the best. Go there first.
Also must see is the safari ride, and its camera friendly.
The bug's life 3d show.
Theres so much more rides and shows, Ive tried to remember the best things.

It depends on how long it has been since you have gone. There is probably a lot more hotels there since your last visit. I would think that Animal Kingdom, Saratoga Springs and Pop Century would definitely be ones you have not seen.
Downtown Disney is really popular now. They do have four theme parks there now, which is Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. They have the two waterparks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Etc. etc. it just depends how long it has been. You can also expect to have longer lines and some of the other not so great new things.
The first thing you should do when you get there is go to a park. Whichever one is your favorite and hit all the rides you can get in. Some of my favorites, Tower of Terror, Mission Space, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Test Track and the list goes on.
Everything is fun at Disney, afterall, it is the happiest place on earth. But I would say that one of the major "not to miss things" is the fireworks and parades, they are always great. Be sure to try some of Disney's different food, there is tons of options and you can't go wrong.

Well, I can tell you this, Epcot pretty much sucks! Don't plan on an entire day there. I'd go in the afternoon take in a few rides (Soarin' is definately worth the wait) and then have dinner. There's a Canadian steakhouse there called Le Cellier, it's great, one of the best in all of Disney. Then check out the night time show outside at Epcot. Other than those things, don't waste your time there.
All the other parks are great. Of course Magic Kingdom will still bring out the kid in ya!

cause your name is johnny depp i would say go to pirates of the Caribbean --they have added a pirate that looks like johnny depp to the ride. (i have not been yet, but will see it tomorrow)
and tech fanatic forgot to write about the coolest ride at Disney-- Everest at animal kingdom it is the most amazing of all the Disney thrill rides.
a great guide book is the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.. the book is great and funny and will give you all kinds of hints.
(what other book recommends ripping pal mickey's head off so it is easier to carry!! :-) )
