Alright here are my two cents on this topic. The lakers signed a player who is a very good 3pt shooter which the lakers were lacking in their offensive scheme. Radmanovic also brings a little bit of rebounding to the team. As far as this signing goes its a bit of an upgrade i feel over Brian Cook. Not much.

As for signing Sam Cassell instead, i as a laker fan wouldnt want him. Sam Cassell is a complainer...he complains on calls and at times brings a bad attitude to teams. Don't get me wrong Sam is a good player who is on the decline, and quite frankly i dont think he is worth the money he wants. The upside that Sam would bring is leadership, but i seriously think there are players on this team who are already leaders. Also i dont see Sam really fitting into Phil Jacksons system.

I as a laker fan would have liked to see Tim Thomas signed instead of Radmanovic, but he has already come to a deal with the Clippers. I believe he signed for 4 years 6 million if i am not mistaken. He would have brought athleticism, rebounding, defense and an offensive threat to this team.

But when its all said and done, i dont think the lakers are done wheeling and dealing this offseason.

Radmanovic is not only a traitor but a dumb one at that. How are you going to leave a team that not only went farther in the playoffs but was willing to pay very well for your half-assed skills? Radmanovic made the worse decision of his career. Dont expect him to work in anybody's front office after he retires. Im still shocked he makes even THAT much money due to the fact he can only play one side of the ball which he STILL plays half assed. I think the Lakers will sign him 2 a contract for less money and decide to opt out VERY SOON.
Then there is what I would like to call the Rick Fox factor. Just look at the guy's career, great in college and completely worthless when he played for the Lakers. Who is the loon who signs or even likes these worthless players? When u sign players like this u better have a pre-nupt

Folks are questioning the Lakers singing V-Rad, I think it add depth in rebounding, 3 poitn shooting and it spreads the floor cause now folks cant double up on Kwame brown, they have to stick V Rad....also the same folks who question this moe probaly questioned Phil Jackson when he wanted Brian Shaw, an old Ron Harper, Horace Grant, Robert Horry etc, all these guys have rings with the Lakers......The Zen knows how to put a team together, watch and stay tuned to the LAKER SHOW!!!..........FROM THE BIGGEST LAKER FAN!!

I really is a poor choice for him cause he had a better chance with the clippers cause the Lakers aren't really doing anything anymore! but they got a new rookie coming in (Jordan Farmar) and they have Kobe who is a great player, and if he produces a lot during the games he can help put their team back on the radar and it can turn out to being a good choice for him!

honestly, i think the lakers paid, what, 5 years 31 million for a guy who can make a 3 pointer and play some of the worst defense ive ever seen. he'll probably come off the bench to replace odom. for that money, he could get sam cassell to play their point. not a good move.

Vlade is a great addition. They needed a shooter and a point guard. They found a pg in the draft and shooter in the free agency market. Good moves.

Good move. Now all they have to do is get Wallace and KG and get rid of Brown, Odom, and Parker.
