i have yahoo toolbar installed and it helps with most of em. i have ran ad-aware and anti-vir but still i get alot of em. They mostly come in all at once.

Firefox is a good start, and it will limit the junk that can be piled on your system because a lot of the holes that IE has are not open in Firefox
