I have seen Dana, Alice, and Shane (maybe others) wear T-shirts with a little dove-looking bird on the left sleeve. Does anyone know the brand or if this is an affiliation with the lesbian community?

The Dove is a symbol of peace that appears on many FREE CITY brand sweats and t-shirts. Shane and other characters have been seen wearing FREE CITY, because the designer is also the L-Word's stylist: Nina Garduno. Nina Garduno is also Leisha Hailey (Alice)'s girlfriend in real life, and has just opened a FREE CITY superstore in Malibu. Prior to that, she was a VP for Ron Herman at Fred Segal's, so many of the clothes and accessories are from there.
