Well our Independence day is not until July 4th,so I haven't done anything yet. :)

For Somali Independence Day (July 1) I went to the mall with my boyfriend and some other friends and saw Nacho Libre.
For America's Independence Day I'm going to hang out with my boyfriend and best friend all day and do pretty much nothing.

Tho nowadays I find it hard to be very patriotic... I've been an uninterupted member of the womens auxilliary, post 163 in Friday Harbor, Wa. for 52 years. This year I plan to march with the women & girls in the parade, go to the cemetary and pay my respects to fallen vets buried there and elsewhere, then go to my favorite "private" spot and enjoy the beautiful fireworks display our town puts on and yell "Happy Independence Day America!" and pray more people wake up and demand the rights and freedom the 4th of July stands for!!!!

Independence Day will be on Tuesday - I think we are going to a barbeque, and will later watch fireworks.
In past years we have had fireworks of our own, but where we live now, they are illegal (wild fire danger). Every year there has been some sort of picnic or barbeque involved - at someone's home, at a beach, at a park, etc.

I dont know what I did for Independence day because we havent reached fourth of July yet. I'll tell you when the day comes

I will be using my Independence day to enjoy my freedom to work. I will be feeding all of the Americans that can't/won't cook.

Not much I just helped install a toilet for my mom today. I wished I went to the Tom Cockerane and CHilliwack concert with my girlfriend but she was busy.

For the Fourth of July,my dad,all 3 of my brothers,and I go buy a bunch of fireworks and launch 'em off at night.Mom and I go shopping for clothes.

It hasn't happened yet, but I'm going to watch the fireworks here in Singapore (yes they celebrate the US holiday here cause they are wondeful about embracing other cultures/countries here).
