George Bush will always be popular with some people and always be unpopular with others. There are many that totally hate him and never will like him. I fall in the middle. I think that the people that like George Bush like him for several reasons. First they may have like stands on issues like Abortion or religion and politics and the military. One thing I do admire about Bush is that he holds to what he says and promises and doesn't waver. He doesn't have his head in the air listening to what the polls are saying but he makes his decisions based upon his core values which he knows those who elected him recognize and understand. Like him or not he at least is dependable and steady and confident in what he does and that at the very least deserves respect of a person even if you hate those ideas he stands for.

Hey Ken, if you watched something OTHER than the O'Reilly Factor, you'd realize he isnt popular. He is basically an idiot. But he IS the prez of my country so I have to back him up on some things. If it weren't for Cheney and Condi, we would basically have a monkey at the wheel.
For those of you who disagree with war, just remember: It was war that gave you the ability to speak your mind. It was war that allowed you to speak english in America. Otherwise we'd speak either German or Japanese. So next time you see someone in the military, say thank you. Next time you see a veteran, say an even bigger thank you. Odds are, few people have.

Less than 50% of Americans like Bush, you call that popular?

Because he's extremely good at making the rich richer (bummer that's all he's good at)
Seriously, this nation has become so stratified as of late... the wealthy in their posh homes cannot even visualize the poverty that exists around them - while we, of course can do no better at imagining their lifestyle (just as foreign).
Basically, we're all left blind to the concerns of those both wealthier and poorer than us. That is why we cannot understand how people could keep an obviously inept leader in office - he makes them money!
and YES I voted, so i have full right to b*tch

Popular? He is hated outside of the red states. I know America has had this "polarization", but not in the rest of the world. He isn't even a good conservative. We all sees him as a joke at best, and the greatest threat and villian at worst.

I really don't get why. There are a lot of libs out there that have a goal to make him look bad at any cost, They spread lies and say that he is in a war for oil. I think he is a great president

Even if he wasn't the President he would probably be popular. Because screw-ups get the most publicity.

Real Americans stand behind their President and their military. The rest of the idiots move to Canada where they can stand for nothing but their personal greed.
