dell.com--the outlet store--good deals on computers ordered but not delivered....got a $500 system for less than $300! :)

Tigerdirect.com has some good deals on laptops (I bought my current laptop from there). Many people also use newegg.com.
Beware of rebates though, many places will show a low price, but that will be after rebates.

Best Buy if you buy it at the right time you will get a bunch of rebates back on it so it will end up being cheaper
