I would say Mcgill makes a better school for medicine.

I'm partial to the University of Calgary, although U of T and McGill are better known. Dalhousie is very good too.

mcmaster is believed to be the best
university of toronto, ryerson
they are in ontario... most of the mentioned are close to toronto.. but mcmaster is 1 hour bus ride away...
