Maybe it's the paint color, or could it be clutter. Try painting it and getting rid of all the excess junk that you don't need. You need to create a calm, resting environment that you will enjoy spending time in.

The reasons for your being uncomfortable may be veried. Such as:
- Your room may not be fully ventilated and fresh air may not be plenty in your room;
- You may not be liking the colour scheme of your room;
- Your seating direction or the bedding direction may be wrong;
There may be other things which can't be guessed without seeing the situation of your room. Anyway you may try the following methods, so that you may feel comfortable in your room:
(1) If your room is not fully ventilated, must install an exhaust fan, which may pump out the stale air and fresh air may enter your room from the door side;
(2) Try to change colour of your room with some very light and bright colour of your own choice;
(3) You may change the setting of your room entirely, keeping your bed in such a direction that at the time of laying or sleeping the position of your head should either be in the east side or in the south or south east side;
(4) Whenever you sit in your room your furniture should be in such a direction that you sit facing the northern side;
(5) Keep some fresh plants in your room which may be of your own liking;
(6) Keep some sophisticated show pieces of your liking in your room;
(7) Your room should be well lighted, as darkness at day time irritates, at least in the winter season.
Try these methods first. I Hope you will enjoy living in your room.
I hope you may not be needing any further advice. However, in case you still want some more advice, I would like to suggest you to consult a group of consultants, whom I know, by sending a scanned map of your house and particularly showing your room, indicating directions very clearly, at the following email:

It's untidy. Move the furniture around and have a cleanup. Get rid of anything you don't really need. This will improve the feeling you get whilst you're in there.

look into studying feng shui.. it may be affecting your mood.. for instane i know one rule of it is that your bed should be facing or open to your doorway. there are other rules that create energy barriers. also, the color of your room may affect you. dark colors or blues can often lead to depressive feelings because it causes you to think alot. its also important to have windows and light coming in. make your room full of your favorite colors and things to look at or do

Tons of possible reasons: Insufficient ventilation, insufficient daylight, stuffy (dirty) carpet, clutter, bad memories.......
And (now risking a flood of abuse): Ask a Feng Shui expert.
