Hey Permdude, stop drinking all the Koolaid!
Many suicides everyday? There was one incident just a week or so ago including 3 or 4 people. That is it for the entire time there have been prisoners at Gitmo.

Sympathy? no, no sympathy. At best these are prisoners of war. Prisoners of war are historically held until the end of the war. These people are not even truely prisoners of war they really don't deserve the rights afforded to POW's. Yet we have them in very nice conditions, the average detainee has gained 15lbs since they were inprisoned (ie they are being fed very well). We actually spend 3 times the amount on a detainee's daily food then we spend on our troops daily food.

Oh yes, lets cry a tear for them not being able to contact their families, how do they normally contact their family after blowing themselves and many innocent people up with a bombvest?

Let them rot in hell, for all I care. The good news is that thanks to all the bleeding heart libs causing trouble we will have to return them back to Iraq in the near future. I am sure a nice dirty Iraqi prison run by Iraqis not us, will make these bastards much more comfortable. I find it quite amusing that all you whiners will have accomplished is in moving these people from conditions way to good for them, to conditions much more appropriate.

for the guy who say he has no sympothy, we still have ppl in there country, and although some has been killed, many more can

Well if we dont want another 9/11 then were taken the back road for it, we forget that these people have families, who have money, and can cause what we fear, another thing not all of them commited a crime, some of them just are suspects, and if there not put through the system, then how would democrocy set an example for up in comers

15 lbs, and how many years has this been going on, why are we covering up this with the food, who gives Sh*T about how much food someones eaten when they are being abused, we treat american born tearoist with more respect, we can let murders out of jail, and rapist out of jail, so at least we can place these people through the system that we supose to abide by

In my view, every person who is accused of breaking the law should have the right to be charged with something, clearly explained to what the charges are, get the assistance of a lawyer and have a trial within a reasonable period. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Yes!
When you can hold someone without charging them for anything, I don't see how that's any different from the Japanese internment camps America had during World War 2

Yes, they are human beings, and being treated like dogs. This is another example of a criminal administration gone bad. If they are the bad guys they should at least be afforded council and should face a jury to determine their fate. That should not be up to a president.

yes i do have sympathy for all the innocent people that are held captive with no charges and being humiliated every single day!!! many of which commit suicide because all the torture and humiliation they are going through!!
something has to be done about it and they should have a fair trial or set free.

Not a bit!! They are the most vicious of murderers. If you want another 9/11 then let the poor savages go. 8 of these have permanent residency in Britain - they can have their 8 back & every country can jail their own criminals. As a mother of a US Ranger, if he kills hundreds of innocents - he deserves his punishment. He was raised better my his Dad & I, & trained better by the US Army.

Yeah, I feel real sorry for men who were caught while fighting our troops. They wear no uniform. They'd cut your head off if they could. I wish there was a way that we could let all of the sympathizers take care of them and interrogate them. You guys go in a room and make peace with them. Heck let your kids shake their hand. they were fighting not running away for Gods sake.
