Take a paper towel or two, and them iron in a low setting. The crayon will absorb into the papertowel. There's not set time to do it. Just keep ironing and changing the paper towel until it's out, and then you can take a little carpet cleaner and get the leftover color out (if it's like black or a dark color.)

I would first use an ice cube or two to harden it, and scrape carefully to get most of it off-use a credit card or something a little flexible, not a knife that might cut the upholstery. Then I would try the very warm iron with the paper towels. If there is any stain left after several trys with the iron, use some Oxi-clean [just a little in a little warm water] with a fingernail brush and GENTLY scrub. Wait about 5 min, then GENTLY brush. If your car is older, or upholstery is well-used, the Oxi-clean may leave the spot a little lighter than the rest of the upholstery.

Place a brown paper bag over the melted crayon-then iron it.
The crayon will soak into the bag.

DO NOT USE GOOF-OFF.The smell will knock you out, especially in your car.The warm iron and a paper towel trick will work.It will get the wax out,but not necessarily the color. You may have to live with that.It is a dye.Good Luck
