I just got my horse in May,06 when I got her she was with a stud. she has not been in heet yet that I know of.

Home pregnancy tests for humans do NOT always work on horses. There are different hormones.

Having the vet out to check her is the only sure way.
Well, I guess just waiting and see is a sure way, too.

We had a foal this year that we didn't know about until 3 months before birth. A lot of mares need certain shots at months 5, 7, and 9. We were lucky mine didn't.

A pregnant mare can show signs of heat without actually being in heat.

If she's pregnant, good luck with the foal.

Give her a pregnancy test. I'm serious. Human tests work on horses.

If she's not been in heat this long she is probably bred. You can have the vet palpate her to check for sure.

call your vet. depending on how long ago she was bred, he'll either be able to ultra-sound or feel the foal.

ask a Dr. for a home pregnant test, and find a place to put it them you find out.
