It doesn't really matter how and where you connect it. Important is that the point of connection of the outlet hose from your washing machine (I think you mean) is located higher than the water level in your washing machine (during use).

You should have a bent hose that came with the washer. If not you need to purchase one. This hose goes into a drain that is higher then the water level of the washer. You will need to do this unless you want to flood your floors.

The usually have a bent hose that come with them that you put into an upward drainage pipe.

you can drain it in your kitchen sink .are put in a drain, not in less you want water ever where.
