The "STUPID JESSICA" thing started with the chicken of the sea tuna deal on her reality tv show--her handlers and agents decided to capitalize on this 'dumb blonde' packaging because it recieved so much press and at the time they needed anything they could get because they were in big trouble with the show's numbers...
Face it--Jessica--if she were stupid--could not possibly do her concert endeavors alone with anything short of strong preceptions and great memory---the lyrics alone in a hour and a half production would tax some folks to the breaking point---let alone the need to deal with personal managers--agents--promotions people--media--costume and wardrobe folks etc etc etc---you can not do this and be dumb as a rock---they just don't know how to shake this personna that they have sealed her with--it has stuck and they are vascillating on a stick for how to proceed--at the moment they are attempting to distance her from this slowly but so far have not found a way to seperate her from it
All that to say---NO-- Jessica is far more aware than most in the general public knows---she is one that fame came to quite suddenly and is still after all this time--reeling under the pressure and notiriaty--and she is not going away---she has become somewhat of an institution in her own right and will be around for some time barring any unforeseen STUPID decisions---Mainly on the part of the people handling her

She has got to be stupid...no one fakes being stupid..although to many people fake being smart....i remember when her parents said when she was 16 she wanted a Mexican baby for her birthday...the way they talked about it...you could have sworn it was a dog or something they were talking about...that whole family is useless..

She's really smart when it comes to being the hot little bimbo that most guys think rich guys get as trophy wives. Can she debate about global warming or Greek philosophy? I would truly be shocked if she could.

Bit of both. She has only one reason for being stupid and that is because she didn't take Nick back when he asked to when she wanted him back in the first place.

i think the gurl realllly is stupid but she fakes her stupidity sometime just to get attention from the magazines and news sources.
