Shaving all your pubic hair makes you look like a 10 year old little girl that has not gone through puberty. It takes most females until their 20's to realize that a small bit of pubic hair is more womanly and attractive than a naked snatch that looks like somebody's young child.
You don't need to have a jungle poofing out of your panties, but you do not need to shave it all off. It isn't any cleaner. In fact, women with bare pubic areas are nearly 50% more likely to catch STDs because the hair acts as a buffer zone.

They shave it because it's the popular thing to do right now. Pop culture seems to have encouraged a lot of it. Some girls just like to feel clean and not as sweaty don there.

I think it's sexiest when most of the hair is shaved, with a bit left above the pubic area ( perhaps, in some form of a design. )
Makes oral sex much more pleasureable for the guy & allows her to wear shorts & bathing suits without hair showing.

Ever since I had back surgery they had to shave some of my pubic hair cause they went thru the front. Ever since then I started thinking about it and I had dare myself to do it. So, I did. I'm glad I did cause it is easier to clean, and you won't itch much, it is cooler in the summer but it also make me horny as hell. Yes, i agree "you don't want pubic hair in your mouth and it is much better to eat a women without all that hair."

It is sexy to some.I prefer to shave in summer(or atleast trim it) because it can be really hot.In winter I only trim.Occasionaly I shave just to keep my man guessing.

I don't really know why they do it i guess they just do it like you said does it make them look sexy or what?i mean it might sound silly but i just started shaving mine when i was just 13 but thats a good question i guess we just to it?not really a good answer to that sry!
