I took my van to the dealership and they did a 4 wheel alignment twice and the van still pulls right quite a bit. They said they've done all that they can do. Is there a reason why an alignment would fail twice? Could it be a bigger problem?

it is possible that your pull is not an alignment problem. there is what is called radial pull. it is caused by a slight seperation in the steel belts in the tires. try rotating the tires from one side to the other and see if this pull goes away or pulls to the other side. if it goes away great...if it pulls to the other side the sepperation is bad enough that the tire or tires should be replaced.

Your front Brake caliper might be sticking, but Doubtful cause it would get HOT and you would notice this.

I think one of your front tires has broken belts in the tread..
Rotate your tires front to rear and see if this helps
If this is the cause you should replace the tire before it blows on you while driving

Your front brake caliper may not be retracting all the way - that would cause friction and pull to the side that sticks.
