I understand there's more oil and money to be made in Iraq for Bush and Cheney but come on. Osama is laughing and plotting while were in Iraq. If your neighbor attacked your family would you go after him, or go after your accountant?

to coombs 1973. That has got to be the dumbest thing I ever heard. Your saying the man who killed over 3000 of our people in the biggest terrorist attack on U.S soil is a nobody. It was better to invade Iraq because Saddam has weapons of mass destruction? I hope nobody attacks you or your family, because your attitude would be "hey no big deal, I'll just go after my neighbor"

Don't you love Republicans... the "REAL" threat is those that haven't ever attacked us, while those that have killed 3,000 on U.S. soil "don't matter"...

When we went into Afghanistan, we used around 50,000 and dropped it down to 20,000 now (many of which are doing security, not looking for bin Laden)...

But in Iraq, we sent in 150,000 and it's still around 100,000... we caught Saddam and zarqawi... it's amazing what 5 times the number of troops can do...

But, I guess 3,000 deaths were not good enough... apparently Osama is going to have to attack again to get our ATTENTION... all he needed last time was 20 people and a few box cutters... and a few years to plan... he probably has access to that and we sure aren't making him a priority...

If you feel safer, we that's great for you... but I need reasons to feel safer, no just someone telling me that they are "working on it"...

coombs1973: how can al-queda take a country over (Iraq) when you say it's leader is "of no consequence"? He's either a threat or he's not...

I guess he's only a threat when Republicans need to use him as one?

What kind of analogy is that? You are stuck on Bin Laden, he is a bug of no consequence. If we leave Iraq now, Al Queda will take the country in a week. Their military & police are too young to stand alone. My son is a LT & Ranger heading to Afghanistan & I would love all the help & safety in numbers possible but not at the death of democracy in Iraq. God bless the USA & all democracy in the World

Well there is the problem that the mountains were OBL is hiding are controlled by tribes that are hiding him. They have a tunnel system that goes into Pakistan side of the border were other tribes hide him. We cannot cross into Pakistan since they are outr allies And this would create difficulties for the president of Pakistan. Their troops will not kill these tribes since it would be killing their own people. They had OBL cornered once and the Pakistanis called a truce with the tribes.

So we have troops waiting to catch OBL on the Afghan side of the border.

More troops there would create more targets for the remnants of the Taliban.

going after osama was an excuse to get bush into what his father failed to do in Iraq, Bush does not care about Osama, he sent his family back to Saudi Arabia so that america would not get a chance to take care of it then. Osama was our for the taking, bush let him go when he sent such a small group of men into afghanistan. then he just gave up and started on an easier target. thank god he is gone in two years, what else can he screw up and who else can he pisoff in this world?

It would be if we were actually interested in pursuing Mr Bin Laden. However our leaders are more interested in money and oil. Why don't you try looking at it from Mr. Bin Ladens' point of view. Most of his people were butchered by our countrymen. That is fact and cannot be disputed. Let's face it our country's leaders definately aren't smart they're just corrupt. :P

Why do you hate America? Do picnics and baseball and the fourth of July offend you? Why don't you support the country that makes the world safer from terrorist attacks?

No one ever accused George Bush of doing anything smart. Hell that is the furthest thing from a coke sniffing, alcoholics's mind.

maximum vest are being replaced with Kevlar or different ceramics regulation enforcement and our troops will inform you that a metallic vest is risky without Kevlar lower than it. metallic can block grenades yet they don't block bullets or armor piercing rounds. metallic plate will reason the bullet to ricochet and it may kill you. the right thanks to equip a vest is ceramic on the exterior Kevlar lower than that then deramex then the metallic and a layer of the right fabric lower than that metallic could no longer be on correct.
