Damn you are ignorant...did you really do that? Ever known a day of hunger? If this person was NOT for real, then that is one thing, however, you could be 13 years old and the person might have been elderly, of seemingly in a bind....there IS that aspect to needing wherein a person may not look that great and REALLY needs the help.
On the other hand, this could be a trick question and yo want the reader to assume it was for spare change. say what you mean.
IF YOU NEEDED HELP....and NO ONE would help you...how would you feel? Ever known a day of needing food so badly and you do not do drugs or drink? This person might have had a real need and you have turned it all into a joke. for all I know, it is in the objective hypothetical. Don't like my answer? well it is the first amendment, past that I shall plead the fifth and based upon your question, I would imagine only , of course in the hypothetical...that you will be drinking that fifth this weekend. I did NOT answer this for the 2 points.....it is all ethics...do yo uknow what those are? I rest my case, Court adjourned for a 10 minute recess.

It's funny if the other person knew you were joking! Otherwise they might have been offended.
But unless you said it in a really mean tone, I don't think it would be considered rude.

It is funny but it's according to what the situation was like did an elderly person need help or a handicap person need help than I would say that was rude.

It is a funny thing to say in the way that it would throw one off as a joke.....................but if you are at a job...................not funny and management would frown upon that. They would think of it as not curteous. Whether or not that is funny totally depends on the environment you are in. If I was in a public situation and asked for assistance and was told that..........I would be annoyed. Otherwise..........lol.........funny.
