I think it is 14 hrs. If it is 8:00 A.M here, it is 10:00 P.M., in Iran. Interesting to time a phone call...I have called Iran, and talked to an Operator in a small village. A year later, when I was in the small village, my sister and I had to take the phone to them, as they don't have the Telephone men like we do here in the states.
When we walked in the door, and spoke to them, the guy from the year before, remembered me. He said, "Okie Dokie". I will find out how close I am on the time, when I read your other answers.

it deponds on what part of US you are from. but I know the US eastern time difference with Iran is 7:30.... for instance if now is 10:30 pm in the estern part of the US ; Iran's time is going to be 6:00 am......khosh bashi ( you have a good time)

East coast is 7 hours.
West coast is 10 hours
Central time is 8 hours.

I think they are between 6 and 7hrs ahead of Eastern time

Iran = GMT + 3.5 so...
About 8,9,10 hour differences in the American Time zones (Aprox.!)
