I watched Portugal vs. England today, pretty boring game but I AM SO HAPPY PORTUGAL WON!!!!!
But I am shocked out of my mind that France beat Brazil.
So what's everyone's views on the games? Was Brazil and France's game any good? Good/bad refs? Just discuss what you thought =]

in the england game i was a little upset about the pk finish. at that point its luck that saves you, and im still a little mistefied as to why rooney was sent off. As for the france game, It was well played, and france deserved the win, i was just hoping for a few more goals

No, Tom, isn't bad luck. If you don't hit the ball right, you won't score. It is about skills. Portugal did everything they could to handle the game to England. They are so bad, they couldn't take. France has a better team that the mediocre Brazil, and no one of them can compare with Zidane. That's all.

okay i thought the portugal vs england in by far the best game this year! i have seen them all but dang this game was intence. well not like the portugal vs nederlands. (also a good game but not like this one) the penalty kicks were all luck! and also you have to remember ricardo is a very good goalie.
and about brazil i think they were just to over confident! they were not playing like themselves. but im happy france beat them becasue they played their butts off.

hi, um yes i am with u, i'm sooo glad england lost. heheh.
firstly i'm not sure if rooney should have been sent off coz we dont know if it was delibrate, but it looked really bad so we cant blame the ref for giving him a red card. i just feel eng were lucky through out the tournament, coz they played weaker oppostion. i dont think sven did a good job for eng, with the amount of attacking players they have they should have played in a formation with they could create goal scoring chances. i feel kinda sorry for eng fans coz they prob have the best individual players but who cant play together in a team. bascially eng were in the quater final of the biggest sporting tornament in the world and didn't go out there to score goals and win the thing. i dont know exactly wat they were trying to achieve on the pitch coz they didn't look like they wanted to score goals. But hey its good for us coz we wanted eng to lose.
to be honest i'm really suprised france are in the semi finals.
they played well tho in the last few games and have really rose to the occasion. but brazil, they were so poor. this was the first time since the france 98 final that they looked like they didn't want to win it, normally they just go attack, attack, attack and go score as many goals as they can, and thats why they have won 5 world cups, but hey credit to france coz thats the best they have played for a few yrs. zidane was amazing !

i think portugual vs england was a really ugly game.. i hoped portugual would win and they did.. the PK's.. portuguese kickers missed the goal, they didnt get blocked.. but the portuguese golie was on!! he blocked 3 pk's.. i dont call that luck!! i call that skills!!
yet on brasil and france.. im still pretty down about their lost.. but then again.. we are still penta(5) champions.. like no one else..

i think engald and portugal was one of the best games especially in the 2nd half....it was amazing altho they didnt score any goals.....england shoulda won but penalties is all abot luck.......braziil DID NOT play like braziil at allllllll....
