The sun's "temperature" is increasing. The sun irradiates energy with rythmic patterns of increases and decreases. Little "ice ages" over the last 1000 years corresponded to decreasing amounts of solar activity while increases of solar activity caused the increase the earth's temperature. It was so warm when the Vikings settled Greenland that in 1110 AD there were 12 churches and a cathedral amongst the numerous farms and villages. Then the sun's activity declined, the earth's temperature dropped and Greenland farming became impossible.
We are now in what may be the strongest solar activity ever recorded. Thus, the earth warms and storms get stronger. I suggest you reject the foolish "global warmists" who blame man for heating up the earth with pollutants and, I kid you not, too many cows that fart. Neither human activity nor cow farts cause atmospheric phenomena. The sun's energy does.

The fact of global warming is not in dispute. However, the connection to the frequency and strength of hurricanes is still not clear. There is a growing consensus that hurricane intensity is being increased, but it is not clear cut or fully accepted. It is known that warm water temperatures feed the energy of hurricanes so one would think that warmer oceans would mean stronger storms. However, the actual temperature rise may not be enough at present to affect current storms.

I think if you look into geology you'll find that the north American continent has been covered with sea water at least six times throughout geological times, the last has created Salt Lake and its flats all from evaporation..

If I didn't see all the scared, whining talking heads on tv telling me about it, I wouldn't notice a thing changing. Find something a little more real to be concerned about.
