no - think about this logically - if the other fax didn't answer how could it have been sent?

Anyone dumb enough to ask this question could not send an intelligent fax anyway. Just forget about it and go back to smoking your weed.

sometimes it will try to redial a few times but when your transmittal report says fax not sent, it was never received by the other person

If it didn't answer then it never received the fax. It has to answer in order to receive.

not. it means the fax number you dialed rang, and was not answered by another fax machine.

It hasn't been sent. It means that the recieving line is busy or disconnected.
