Why couldn't he think of a way to kill Gilligan and make it look like an accident?

That was a little silly! Could you think of a way? Gilligan was blown up, shot at and every other conceivable way to kill somebody and he always survived and raised the ratings.

Come On!

Because if the Professor did something really stupid then he could use Gilligan as a scapegoat.
But i guess he could get rid of the other guys and the rich guys wife, and he could have Ginger and Maryanne to himself! =D

Because he was so smart. If he did that then the show would have been over and he would no longer receive a paycheck for having the easiest job in the universe.

He is so smart that he can make a radio out of coconuts, but he couldn't fix a hole in the boat. How ridiculous is that. Good show though.
