Hi! Most certainly! You can tackle many of them in that state. Most "dreams" are actually out of body experiences however, most people don't have the expanded consciousness one needs to control it. When I'm out of body, I give healing energy to my friends, myself, I get counseled, I solve problems etc. Try this darling, write your prayer down on paper and put it under your pillow before you sleep, then expect a miracle. :P

God spoke to many people in the bible through dreams, so it's very possible. Generally look at it like this, was the dream, strong, clear, and does it's message seem to go inline with your beliefs about God and his will, if so then the answer is yes, if you are still in doubt pray about it again, God may see that you need something clearer than a dream to get the message.

Happens all the time if you have "ears to hear" so to speak. Read a book called "Dreams: God's Forgotten Language." You should keep a dream journal next to your bed and write in it every night and when you awaken. I receive confirmation, understanding and wisdom through my dreams at least once per week. Prayers could be answered through anything. In your dreams, in a prayer, through someone else, in something you are reading. Anything. God works in mysterious ways. That is why he is so excellent.

I think your mind often works on problems when you aren't even aware of it. We get so busy with our daily lives that we don't take time to listen to our brains.
While we are sleeping, some solutions may work their way to the surface and come out in dreams.
