I am racially mixed. Doesn't seem like there is a lot of support for it in the U.S. despite the fact that everyone is supposed to be open to other types of people...

Well, I can't say that I never would. Not that it would be my choice to do that..but if I fell in love w/ another race,,, although it would be hard,, and cause a lot of controversy,,, I suppose I could or would marry that person.

I was at the bank and two ladies were talking about their nephew "dating" a white woman,, and they were not happy about it at all,, they were cutting her down,,etc.. so I guess it is just human nature for people to want their families to marry in their own race.

If u are racially mixed,,,then I guess you can make that choice yourself,,when you find that special person no matter what race.

I married a mixed girl and have no regrets. I dont even think about it. Her mom is white and her dad is black. Im white and I never cared about what other people thought. Our son turned out complety white, he plays with his black cusins and his white cusins and is not cought up in all that race profileing. We are all family and that is the way we treat one another and it's also been a wonderful learning experence for me better understanding of the most mis understood race on the planet.

This is a hard question because I try and treat every person equally. However, personally would not date some outside my race. It was just the way I was raised. So even though I would treat people equally I would refute any "passes" from someone form a different than my race. I am my own contradiction.

I have 3 best friends who are white and they are all with black men, 2 of them have children and I have to say that the men that they are with could not be any nicerto them. I love them all and I love their children. My children play with them and I will always teach my children that race means nothing and the type of person that they are means everything. If you are racially mixed, love yourself for who you and not what others think you should be.

I am actually already married, and to a guy of the same race as me. I have been attracted to men that have been asian, white, black. I think for a marriage to work, the last thing that needs to be a factor is race. I think you should have the same values and ideas as the person you are marrying.

Sure! I am Hispanic but I love Asian women, I love their looks, as far as racially mixed go, most of the planet is mixed in one form or another, take a Mexican for instance, they are the product of Indian and Spanish blood, my grandparents had no hair on their arms and facial hair was somewhat lacking, but me I am a hairy monkey, MIXED, my niece has green eyes none of the other family member have this feature MIXED. there may not be a big specific mix such as you but try doing a search on line for mulatto support groups (I hate using that lame term) but your not alone.

i don't think i would marry a black person, maybe possibly some other race... but if someone else wants to, its a free country, do what you will, if you're not hurting anyone. But it does seem like those blacks that preach racial pride all the time, are ending their pure race by marrying those of other races.

I personally could not see myself married to a black person just because I don't and never have found them attractive. I could see myself married to a mixed person because I have seen and liked a few mixed girls before.

If I meet someone I wouldn't have a problem with it, but since I'm with someone right now I don't know. I don't think race matters though if you love the person.
