Why we black folk traditionally follow democrats puzzles me. Both have been secretary of state--so they have experience with foreign policy. Colin was a general so he has best military leadership experience. He was balance in Bush's leadership before he left the office of secretary of state. They are both republicans so they would have the best interest for domestic policy. America are we ready for a winning ticket in 08??? Lets begin the campaign!!!!

I don't think it's going to happen. Colin Powell has no desire to be president. It would be more likely to have a republican ticket with Rudi Jiuliani and Condi Rice.
Rudi Jiuliani has become very popular since 9/11, and Condi Rice is absolutely brilliant. With his popularity and her brains, I think that they would have a good shot at getting elected.
I don't think that the American people are ready to elect either a black president or a woman president. However, if Condi Rice wound up as the VP, then it would open the doors for a woman OR a black to be president the next time around.

Oh hell no, repuglicans have strayed from the party of Lincoln. They have become the slave owners rather then the slave freers. They strike down any hope of a helping hand toward equality. Please do not equated Colin Powel or Condi Rice with the majority of African/Americans while these people have made it, they turn their backs on those of us who hasn't. I do not trust that they would be any differant then George Bush as a leader and you can see what that has gotten us.
