It isn't, they just deliberately make it appear difficult so they can make you go away. You have to check the websites and call in person and show up at the agencies you need assistance for, don't give up until you get a straight answer. You may qualify for many things, but you have to be a pain and diligent, because the government would much rather just scare you away then pay any money.

I asked for assistance once and they denied me because I made $1.75 more than they allow poverty to be. All I was asking for was help paying for daycare. I guess you have to be addicted to drugs, a thief in and out of jail, and not able to help yourself for the government to assist. Pretty sad if you ask me. Those of us trying to get by can't seem to get the help we need.

Cause they dont want every one mooching...and anywayz...here in guilford county NC you hva eto make under 1800 to qualify for anything and that is before taxes ...who the hell can live on that!

You have get on long lines and make sure you have all the paper work necessary...
Think about it... If you're desperate enough, you'll put up with the B.S.
