I am a novice gardener. What are these bugs and how do I get rid of them? I sprayed for aphids a week or so ago and now this.

They seem to be mostly on my patio tomato. I have some early girls, better boys and a cherry tomato that they aren't on so much.

Thanks so much for your help!

The white bugs are aphids too? I thought aphids were little green bugs.

Sounds like whitefly. I used something I got at OSH that is an oil-like substance (and non-toxic for vegetables you are going to eat) and sprayed it on some iris plants that were covered in whitefly and it got rid of them. Good luck and enjoy those home-grown tomatoes!

Use Seven dust or spray for all veggie insects. Safe for us, deadly for bugs.
