OK, mine SUCKED really bad after high school.

I got a job delivering frozen foods; pizza, sandwiches, etc. to schools. I drove over 100,000 miles a year, over 7 counties. Each day I would drive to a different area. I was on the road 10-12 hours a day. No radio, no a/c, manual brakes, manual steering. Awful job.

After 2-1/2 years, I got fired (I lasted longer than anyone at the job; new management fired everyone). So when I went looking for another job - the only people who would hire me are delivery jobs. And they ALL were awful (7-UP was the worst, followed by Swift Meats, Coke was the longest hours; 6 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week.). I finally went to college; evenings, 1 class per week, 1 course per semester. It took me 9 years to get a degree, but when I graduated - everything changed for the better. Better job, 8-5 hours, better pay, etc., etc.

Bottom line, go to trade school or college. It is the only way out!!

nope. There is so much to do after high school. For one, you could join the military and see the world. It might even get you a free trip to the sand box. For another, you could go to college and further your education. If you don't have the grades to make it in a full time college, go to your local community college. Do it now, when you still have the study skills that you learned in high school. Oh, something else you could do, get a job. Yeah, that sounds really boring, and at the beginning levels it really sucks. But you have the opportunity to better yourself and advance. Another thing you might want to think about doing, after you have that job, of course, it think about finding a nice girl, go out with her for a couple of years and get to really know her. Then you might think about getting married and raising a family. Of course, that would take a bit of committment and dedication on your part.

Lol -- The best thing that you can do, is do something. Don't sit around and wait for the world to discover you. Go out and discover the world!

For many of us life IN high school sucked and afterward we were finally free to live. You are free to do whatever you want to do. Your only limitation is your imagination. Stop and think about what you really want. It's possibly not in the place you live right now. You can move away, travel the world in search of your dreams. You are not subject to some unwritten law that states you must stay were you are and live a life unfulfilled. Get out and see some of the world around you! Good luck.

No, it doesn't have to at all. In fact, this is the best time of our lives because we're just starting out with all kinds of options available ahead of us. If you don't like where you're at, you have a lot of time to change things! If you're not sure what you want to do, try working a variety of jobs and see what kind of work appeals to you. Once you have an idea, you can save up money for school, because today you have to have a college degree to make a decent living.

No, not at all. Going to college can be a lot of fun, and so can working if you get a job you like! Sometimes, you won't find a job you enjoy immediately, but often the longer you stay at a job and have the chance to work your way up the more enjoyable it becomes.

Well if you don't go to college or university and you end up in some dead end job flipping burgers or working in retail ....yup it pretty much sucks. Ain't no fun being all grown up and having to pay rent, insurance, car payments, bills, bills, bills.....makes high school and living with mom and dad look dang good doesn't it??

It's all about how you do things. You make it suck or you can make it great. Sure it can be on and off again because it's a new lifestyle but you get used to it.

You are not alone. It's the cycle of life. Watch the movie "The Good Girl" with Jennifer Anniston. You will feel better about your life after that. And if that doesn't make you feel any better, watch "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez. Good luck with the rest of your life.

No -- go to college. Especially a party college like Chico State of Georgia State in Athens. You will have a blast - and you may learn something as well!

Everything you do is a choice. You can choose to have a rotten life. Or you can choose to do something about it and make it what you want.

Circumstances are results of choices. Choose to make something of your life and be sure to tell everybody you know about it.
