I think that this nation will be stronger because of George Bush...and hopefully whoever becomes President in '08 will have the same determination and resolve to keep us going in the same direction.....no more 9/11's.

At the National Archives in Washington DC, there are two stones that have written on them a phrase. The first stone says "The past is prologue." The second reads, "Learn from the past."
This country has survived a war for it's indpendence. It has survived a "great Civil War...testing whether that nation, or any nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure." It survived the Great Panic of 1898, the first World War, the Great Depression, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. It survived the '60's and the '70's. It will survive regardless of 9/11.
We have not had another terrorist attack on US soil since that tragic day. That alone, despite liberal/progressive actions to the contrary, is a phenomenal achievement.
For many citizens, they have it all backwards. It is not the US Government which should be feared or reviled. It is our Jihadi enemies who seek to erode our resolve through our own press, and our ignorance.
"The past is prologue; learn from the past."

No, Ebony, I think the nation will be Strong and we will work toward a great future. China will buy the U.S. from George Bush when he figures out that that he can make some bucks from it. Part of the deal is he will be Governor for life in the U.S. Provence of China. China will use our technology to acquire the rest of the world and will dominate, I also think that Iraq will be part of the deal as they will need the energy to drive the world markets. Or, we will elect Democrats to congress ending the repuglican dictatorship and provide some check and balance to the government and keep George Bush in check so that he can do no more harm to this great nation.

I think we are going to have another republican president the next election 2008.. Why people are sick an trad of Democrats liberal ways..The disrespect of our christens ,unreasonable tax burden to pay for all the good for nothing laying around drunk and hi on our dollar... In the history of our Government this has only happen a few times, that the same party has stayed in office three consecutive terms .. This is a good chance this will happen unless the Dem's can come up with a superman .. I for one don't want a Hillery Clinton in office at a time of war.. Think, you are in that voting box no one knows make the right choice for your country not your party....

This country has miraculously survived bad presidents before (Hoover, Carter, Bush Sr.) so I think we can hang on for another year and a half. It won't be easy though.

there's not enough upheaval for this nation to fall. there may be an unpopular war, but there is no military draft, taxes are reasonable, there is no depression, relatively little poverty, and the leaders are (like it or not) elected.

The country will evendually fall, because all of you are convinced that what doesn't work is in the best interest of everybody, and you vote for it.
