when my period came i felt so embarassed,because i was at school and like i knew i was gonna have my period so i carried a pad in my purse so then i was at school and this boy was sittin next i had a crush on him so then i needed to pass out some papers to the class so then he got my purse and he tried to hide it but then it fell on the floor and my pad came out and he kicked it and said eew whats that and everybody started to laugh at me and that same day i started my period and had stains on my pants!!!!

I am 30 so you may not care to hear my story but anyway I started my period when I was 9 years old, a week short of my 10th birthday. I knew all about periods because my older friend had been getting hers for a couple years and she had told me all about it. My greatgrandmother was in the hospital and she was dying and we came home to get some rest and I had started my period. I didn't get any on my clothes or anything else anyway we went back to the hospital and my mom starts telling everyone there that I had gotten my period.. I was mortified. But honestly there is nothing to worry about, be prepared by carrying a pad or a tampon in your purse, or leaving one in your locker at school. First periods "usually" start slowly so you will catch it before its too late.

I was lucky I was at home when my first period started, but my best friend was sitting in English class and the teacher called on her to go to the board to do some work and she stood up and had blood all over the back of her mini skirt and the chair. I jumped up behind her with her and pushed her out the door. She had no idea. Luckily the teacher was cool. I was so embarrased for her, but only two other girls noticed.

While my story isn't really embarassing, but since you're worried I'll try to put you at ease. I got mine the summer I turned 12, and I just kind of woke up one day with it. My mom wasn't home so I had to deal with it by myself and figure out how to tell her when she got home. I wasn't surprised because I had already learned all that stuff, but at the same time I was a litte embarassed and upset because it was something I wasn't used to, and I was uncomfortable. I'm sure you'll be fine, though. If you're really worried about starting it at an awkward time, try carrying a pad with you in your purse (if you have one) That way you'll be prepared right away.

It wasn't my first but when i was 11 turning12 and i was in Wal-mart and school had just let out and i saw all of my friends there getting summer stuff! I even saw this boy named Felix which was in my class and he is cute!!Well when i got home i went to the bathroom and i looked in the mirror, blood was all over my pants!!OMG it was terrible!After that i realized that was the reason none of my friends would really come up to me and say hi!

my period came on in the 5th grade while at school but i really didn't know what was goin on for the first two days. i didnt cramp i just noticed something in my panties at school but it wasnt red and i didnt feel wet. i had even thought that i had silent diarrhea if that even exist. on the third day i wiped and i seen blood and said BLOODY MARY has arrived.

im so lucky i didn't get mine in public or anything. i got mine in my sleep and my mum was out in the morning so when i got up, i noticed ..;. freaked out a little but was very happy at the same time, got a pad put my clothes in the wash. when my mum got home i told her and she was pleased and she washed my clothes.

my friend was wearing white tight shorts and she started hers! she had blood stains all over. It was hot out so there was no sweatshirt to tie round her waist! She also had no extra clothes and she was wearing white underwear! I feel soo sorry 4 her!

i woke up one day and i didnt really notice anything.......until i went to the bathroom. i was still half asleep so i didnt see any blood until i flushed. i took my pajamas back down and saw the blood. me and my mom had the talk before but i was freaking out so bad i forgot everything she had told me. i thought i was dying or something. but then she told me wat the deal was. she even called my dad at work. and my aunt. and called my teacher and actually told him why i wasn't coming to school that day. i cried the whole day.

wat happened to me was that i was in gym,and i didn't know i was going to get it...........so i wore white like always and during P.E.,i was doing fips and tricks and a whole bunch of showoffy stuff...then i was told i had something on my butt..i thought it was a joke but when i changed after P.E.............there was sumthing red...i was worried becuz i had to change into....i had no sweaters or nuthing to prtect myself from people seeing me so i had to go all around school with a red butt....after that,i had to stand being teased for 2 whole years..........oh my god!! and the worst part my mom told everyone she knew about me getiing my period
