EXAMPLE: "The SuperBowl was viewed by 23 million people last year." Says who? No one can tell what TV station or network I'm watching.... right?

Nielsen rating. A small number of people are sampled and their television viewing habits are deemed representational.

They can tell. They use a system that monitor your activity on the computer, the TV you watch and radio you listen to . The one I know is done by Neilsen rating. You get a a CD and you download in your computer and it monitors all your activity. You also get surveys. They do not know what you watch if you are not monitored.

Thats a good question, i always wonder the same thing- I'm sure they control it and can access it somehow otherwise everyone would get HBO for free, But I wonder if they can monitor HOW long you watched and what parts? I'm sorry this is not an answer, I hope someone can explain better.

I watch Arrow too. i've got in basic terms watched a pair of episodes from each and each instruct you have listed yet they have enormously reliable scores on IMDb. i like Grimm, Hannibal, Revenge, and The Mentalist. And cutting-element relatives is humorous.
