What if a comet was about to hit earth (impact on ocean) and the President made an announcement that we have only 72 hours until it hits us and then we will all drown. The only safety is to go to higher grounds. Do you make the most of the 72 hours and live out your life doing whatever you wanted or do you try and reach that higher ground when you know you may or may not make it within 72 hours? If you do your own thing, what do you think you would do within 72 hours?

If I could take all of my loved ones with me, then I would try to get to high ground. If I could not, then I would try to spend all of my remaining time with my loved ones before we all died.

Well... I live in Oklahoma so I am not anywhere near 'high' ground .... and the roads would be so full that I would just end up sitting in traffic for 72 hours and then end up dying anyway.

I think I would live it up...... Maybe I would slowly make my way somewhere but for the most part--- i would just live it up!

if i attempted to go on the higher grounds, survival after the flood would be very difficult... no resources. perhaps no food and drinking water... definitely you'll die because of 3rd degree dehydration because the only available water would be from the ocean you'll have to wait for the rain to fall,,,

since i am a nurse i'll hepl people accept anticipated death, live my remaining hours with the people i love, and die together...

Make the most of what I've got. Everyone would be fighting to get to the higher ground, probably killing each other to save their own.

Im a survivor, i would do whatever it takes to get to the higher ground, and I would make it, if I had to kill others who stand in my way, I would have no problem doing that, if I have to steal, no problem, whatever it takes to get me my son and my loved ones to safety WOULD be done.

Our elevation is 4,000 ft. Would we be high enough to survive in your scenario? If so, I'd stockpile food and water, candles and matches, toothpaste and toilet paper, and invite all my family to get to us, if possible.

I have two tiny children so I'd do everything I could to be calm and go on with our regular lives as long as we could.

I'd pray a lot for everyone else too!

Hmmm. The nearest mountain is only 2 hours away so, I would throw a huge party/ orgy and die happy!

No doubt about it, I would do whatever I want. Because either way you're going to die, might as well die happy.
