I personally think that it's stupid. There are too many ads and pop-ups and people writing nasty viruses because they know they will spread to millions worldwide. However, for some adults, it's a viable way to get back in touch with old friends with whom they have lost touch.
The thirteen-, fourteen- and fifteen-year olds who are on there trolling for older guys are the problem. The news shows have all been doing stories lately on MySpace and the stalkings, etc., but it's not actually MySpace that's to blame. No matter how many safeguards MySpace erects against misuse by minors, no one can prevent a twelve-year old from inventing an eighteen-year old's birth date to get on and create a profile that is unintentially provocative to a predator.
Parents: be aware of what your children are doing online. It's not a safe world for them to be navigating on their own, and child molesters are often very clever and manipulative. Don't blame MySpace; blame your own lack of attention to what your own child is doing in your home.

MySpace is Tom's ticket to Hawaii.
Other than that, I guess it's okay. It's not anything super exciting, but they get a lot of bad pub from the dumb kids giving out too much information or doing silly things like meeting sexual predators outside of the Internet.

Never post "too" much info about yourself on the internet.
There are alot of "sickos" that use the internet.
If I had a child under the age of 18..I would forbid them to post a profile on "MySpace."

It's a great networking tool for artists, especially for musicians who can share their music and publicize their events.
As a social networking tool it should be treated with caution (to avoid weirdos). Personally, I limit my friends list to people I actually know.

i think it is a website where ignorent people put all there info and dont think anyone will see it and peoplesee your info and start talking next thing you no your telling them what school you go to and you get kiddnapped.(its stupid)
