i do construction work during the summer when i am out of school (i am a summer laborer, i carry brick an stone to the stone masons and bricklayers) and sunglasses come especially handy. the sun is usually beating down on us and the houses we work on sometimes reflect the light and it gets very bright.

but finding the right shades is a little more difficult. a good pair of Aviators always fix the brightness.

No i don't unless I'm riding a quad...but everyone should wear them to protect their eye's from harmful ub/uv ray's, if not you can develop eye problem's such as dry eye's which can lead to the growth of blister like bubble's ...that are scar's from the sun drying them out and artificial tear's will not keep that from happening . That's probably the least of the damage that the sun does to the eye's . Their just a good idea. If you don't like them, find other ways to protect your eye's, like wearing a hat to shade them.

Yes and its' not so much that I like to I have to because my eyes hurt when I go out into the sun and I don't have the sun glasses on.

At times sunglasses make me struggle getting the focus back in my eyes when I take them off .

Yes, they seem to help keep the sun out of my eyes. I have blue eyes and the sun really hurts me.
