Well that's what I have always told my wife; we've been married for some 36 years, and my Playboy magazines go back to the early 60's. That should be proof enough. {Off the record now, I really don't ignore the excellent photographs of the lovely young girls; however, I must say that they were a lot more beautiful in the "earlier days," when the photographic sessions left something to the mind to decide what they really might look like. Now days you have all the answers at first view with nothing to be desired in the mind, or to remember, if you know what I mean.
And I'm sorry about that aspect of the Playboy culture; it has evolved beyond where it should have. At least that is my opinion, or so I believe. To bad. Oh well. It's kind of like the concept presented in "The Peter Principle." If you've never read that important non-fiction book, then perhaps you won't know what I mean, but let it just be said that Playboy has gone beyond their limits and don't even know it yet. Hugh must have let his daughter go beyond her knowledge of how far she should be going with each issue. Perhaps she'll come around--or just lose it once and for all eventually. Who knows?

I actually stopped reading Playboy about ten years ago, and yes I did "read it for the articles...".
The Playboy Interview used to be one of the best, no-holds-barred, interviews available in print. Some where alnog the line, the interviews got much shorter, duller, and the models (...yes, I looked!)...got even more plastic looking, and dumber sounding when you read the profiles.
Upshot, it used to be a nice magazine. Now it is soft core crap.
Sad really...

I don't know about the articles, but I used to love to read the jokes page behind the playmate of the month. Of course, to be honest, I didn't skip the pics either.

I doubt it, why would you pay that much for just the articles. My idea is that is a good cover for what is going on, unless the guy is gay then they might actually say they like the articles.
