I am trying to trace my family tree and i am having a lot of difficulties. Can anyone reccomend a websight?

Ancestry.com is a great resource. It's not free, though. In order to get access to the most useful databases, you'll need to be a member. What level you want to pay for depends a lot on what you already know.
A less complete website which, nevertheless, gives you access to family trees that may intersect with yours is onegreatfamily.com. That, too, requires a membership, I'm afraid.
I've spent a lot of time researching my own family and have come to the wistful conclusion that, with genealogy on the web, we really do get what we pay for.

I have found some of my family tree online, I also talked to someone who was a family member kinda who had traced it. I need to get it updated with all of us but that is alot of work. Here is the link as a reference. Good site too!

To search the US Social Security Death index for free

Also try searching for local genealogical group online in the area that your ancestors lived.

tracing paper number 1 pencil and a steady hand (bada dum dum tisssh) familytree.com, ancestory.com mormon church is a great resource of family tree research just dont read the book of mormon

you should go to people search but i think it coast money but if its really importent you will do it i did to look up my best friend that moved far away his name is jake well good luck

you dont need the internet silly, just go get a book with a picture of a tree in it and trace the stupid picture
