Lower the low e string to D ( a full note.)

Just tune the low E (top string) to the D (#3 from the top) string. Sounds great on certain songs and easy to tune on the fly.

E > D
A > A
D > D
G > G
B > B
E > E

The tuning is slightly lower than regular tuning. Get it in tune with how the D string sounds, which means get the E string (not e, E.) in tune with the D string, then tune all the other strings to be in sinc.

Hit your D string while trying to make your low e string sound like the d string.
