No! Look at France, with their pheonix from the flames! They have players who returned to international duty because they couldn't stand to see their country doing sh*t, and now they are in a strong position. And Germany, whose boss was repeatedly criticised in the previous 2 years, and Italy and Portugal who are both very very spawny to get to the semi-final!!!!

Ok, wait a minute, why the world cup has lost emotion? because Brazil is out? thank god brazil is out, it is the same as watching the yankees win the world series over and over and over, or michael schumacher win the formula 1 championship, or the lakers win the nba title for 8 yrs straight. And for those americans (I'm an American) that think that soccer is pathetic and sorry, tell that to the 28 billion that watch it all over the world, that's more than any event in the world, including the olympiads. Open your minds, the US wanted globalization right?... why can't we be part of it in a sporting event?

I don't really understand why you did that question. I thing that now the emotion is at its peak. Just because Brazil and England are out it doesn't mean that the party is over, actually both teams weren't entertaining.
Força Portugal!

Why? As far as I know, it is called the world cup and not the Brazil cup.

Brazil lost, they played like s***t today... i don't know what happened :-(
France hasn't that great of a time. This Brazilian team was much more talented individually, i think that collectively they didn't connect today...
I'm rooting for Portugal now... but the happiness and joy are gone for me.

No it is just as boring and pathetic now as it was yesterday only difference is now it wont be quite so easy to spot the tossers on the road as the flags wont be on the cars anymore

To me its just boring now that Brazil is gone. I have no fire left for the game. France extinguished it. Still love football though.

Brazil Rocks. I still love them
