pobet I live in michgan looking for a construstion job not a job that pays under $18.00. 15 yrs experiance.

I know your dilemma very well.

I would only move if I had a job offer, though, otherwise you'd just be unemployed in another state, and probably without family support. (Hoping you have that!)

I'm down to taking something that'll just pay the bills until I can get what I want.

I would not move without a contract for a job already in place, even within my own state. It's just too risky right now.

I didn't want to have to move from Pennsylvania, but I couldn't find a job anywhere. I moved to Maryland, I hated it. Still can't find a job in Pennsylvania and am moving to Virginia.

It depends on what kind of job you want. I always think it's better to have a job waiting before you move.
