Scientifically speaking when any of the bodily appendages are removed from any animal the central nervous system picks up wave patterns from each nerve ending thus causing different degrees of pain sooooooooo YES a Fly a Roach a Ant or even a Flea can feel its legs being removed we are just to big to here them EX: Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

definitely, but in their own way. all living creatures are able to feel pain. a study was done on plants some years ago that clearly indicated that not only would they suffer when physically traumatized, but also, unlike most humans, who think they are the most evolved species on the planet, those same plants could sense the intention of the human to injure them *before* the actual physical act was performed. and sensing the intention itself was painful. makes you kinda stop and think? anyway, the best idea is to be sensitive and kind to all creatures, many, even though they're not rich and famous are more advanced than we. actually, i've never met a tree i didn't like, which is more than i can say for quite a few people i worked with in washington, d.c.

flies don't have vocal chords--the buzz we hear when they are flying is made by their wings. So no, they don't scream. And ugh! Tearing off fly legs is rather sadistic, don'tcha think?
